A Trip to Meet Jackson.......

We when to Chicago this weekend to meet Jackson Harper Olson. He was soooooooooooo tiny. I can't believe that Trevor was ever that small. Jackson is too cute! Trevor kept peeking over the bassinet to watch him sleep. Then he would inform us "Baby Night Night". He wasn't sure what to do when Jeff and I held Jackson. We had a great visit with the family....even Uncle Justin flew in for the weekend. Here are some pictures....

Mark my words.....

Daddy decided to let Trevor stand on the counter and play in the cabinets. He was having so much fun. Problem is, this is now all he will want to do for the next few weeks. Well at least we won't have to watch Monsters Inc for the 10,000th time.

Just when we though Spring was on it's way....
Yesterday the weather was beautiful. The snow was gone and my bulbs are starting to come up. Trevor got run around alot outside. I thought for sure this was it....Spring was finally on it's way.
WRONG!
We have had nasty sloppy snow all day long today.... I'm convinced winter is never going to end!

Ahhh....Young Love!!!
These two are just like an old married couple....
First Trevor goes over and nicley shows Ariel how to use the bike bell:
Then in not so many words, he told her women don't know how to drive and to get off his bike....which equates to him sitting on her:
Once they got bored with that argument, they moved on to fighting over who's is who's:
And it all ended with them sitting on the couch watching Dora, not speaking to each other:
.......A match made in Heaven!

Uneventful Weekend
There is nothing to report from the weekend. To avoid harassing emails from certain people looking for their Trevor fix. I'll leave you with this video. Sorry it is kind of dark. Trevor broke our living room lamp.

The Adventures of First Time Mothers.....

What do you do in the winter when your children have had enough of sitting in the house? Well, my neighbor Kelly and I decided we would take the boys to the only indoor play area in all of Madison. It is in the middle of the mall, and I can only imagine what kind of germs we pick up there. Every time I go I can just hear my brother scolding me all the way from Florida for letting Trevor play on this stuff. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and we take our chances. Here are some cute pictures of Trevor and Caleb playing:

Did you know that it is impossible to get two toddlers to stand together long enough to get them in the same picture? I tried, but failed miserably…

Of course going out in public with toddlers always has its interesting moments. Today we lucked out and had two. Besides his Daddy, Trevor is not fond of strange men. He doesn’t like Santa, he doesn’t like the Easter Bunny, he is scared of Ryan and he isn’t even a stranger. Well, today as we were taking a stroll through Express, a very nice VERY dark black man that worked there said Hi to Trevor. Trevor FREAKED out. I have never seen him so scared in all of my life. It was one of those moments when you feel like everything stops and everyone is looking at you. I didn’t know what to say, and I could tell the guy felt bad and didn’t know what to do either. So we just looked at each other and parted ways. Trevor screamed all the way out the door. Then we headed off to dinner at Chili’s, where the boys had a nice relaxing dinner seeing which one could scream louder. Kelly and I sat with everything on the table (all the glasses, salt, pepper, sugar, crackers, ketchup, etc) piled in front of us so that the boys would stop throwing everything on the floor. After dinner we were getting coats on and we could tell that something was bothering Caleb. He seemed a bit agitated or something. We didn’t think too much of it and headed for the door. And then it happened…………as we are walking past all the people sitting waiting for a table poor Caleb throws up. It missed a lady sitting there by an inch. Then he just kept throwing up. Poor Kelly was trying to catch it in her hands, but that wasn’t working so she ran out the door with him. I stood there wondering what does a person do in this situation? So, I sit Trevor on the bench and go into my bag and pull out the wipes. I look at the wipes and look at the puke and realize the wipes were not going to do anything for this. So I put them back in my purse grabbed Trevor and left. Poor Kelly and Caleb were covered in puke standing outside. Kelly and I just looked at each other and started laughing. I mean seriously……these children need to come with a manual. I can only imagine what all the people waiting for to eat dinner thought……. Needless to say, we won’t be going back to that Chili’s any time soon.
